Is Melatonin Capsules Right for Me?

Categorized as Parenting, Personal care

The pineal gland in your body produces melatonin, a hormone that regulates your 24-hour sleep-wake cycle. Consumed as tablets, gummy worms or capsules, or patches. Insomnia, autism spectrum disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder can all be treated with melatonin supplements. Short-term use of Melatonin 0.5 to 10 mg capsules per day is effective and non-addictive. They should only be used when it is necessary to control one’s sleep schedule.

It’s possible that melatonin pills might cause moderate side effects such as dizziness, nausea, and sleep deprivation. Antidepressants, diabetes medicines, and sedatives should be avoided when pregnant or nursing.
