Star Trek: Picard showrunner Terry Matalas has explained the surprise cameo of Henry Dekker as Titus Rikka in season three. Matalas said the decision to cast Dekker wasn’t deliberate and didn’t dawn on them until they were shooting. Fans have previously seen Dekker in Star Trek Generations, playing Jean-Luc Picard’s imaginary son. Jeri Ryan, who plays Seven of Nine, revealed that season three would be the show’s final season.
