YG Entertainment has announced that their new girl group, BABYMONSTER, which was previously expected to debut with seven members, will now debut with less than seven. The decision has disappointed fans who have been following the group’s journey with anticipation since the announcement of their debut in May 2021. YG Entertainment’s founder and executive producer Yang Hyun Suk announced the decision in a teaser called “Last Evaluation,” which will determine the final line-up of the group.
